* Born of dragon blood, the Draconians are a force of raw physical power and ancient wisdom.

Physical Traits

Standing nearly seven feet tall, Draconians are an imposing sight. Their bodies are covered in thick, durable scales that range in color from bronze and gold to deep crimson and obsidian, often reflecting their elemental heritage. They possess reptilian eyes with slit pupils, sharp talons, and heavy tails that aid in balance.

While they lack wings, their lung capacity is immense, allowing some to exhale smoke or minor elemental bursts when angered. They are warm to the touch, their internal fire burning constantly. A Draconian sheds their scales once every few years, a painful process that leaves them stronger and their hide tougher than before.

Social Interactions

Draconian society is built upon the pillars of Clan and Honor. They are not prone to deception; to a Draconian, a lie is a sign of weakness, an admission that one fears the consequences of the truth. They speak plainly and expect others to do the same.

They often struggle with the soft-spoken etiquette of the Eladrin or the chaotic energy of the Goblins. Respect is not given freely; it is earned through deeds of strength or displays of wisdom. However, once a Draconian pledges their loyalty to a cause or a companion, they will defend it with the ferocity of a mother dragon protecting her hoard.

World View

"We are the fire that clears the brush, so that new life may grow."

Draconians view themselves as the guardians of the natural order. They believe that power is a responsibility, not a privilege. They have a deep reverence for history and often seek to uncover the secrets of their ancient progenitors.

They do not fear conflict; they embrace it as a crucible to test one's spirit. To a Draconian, a life lived in safety is a life wasted. They seek challenges—be it in battle, craftsmanship, or philosophy—to sharpen their souls like a blade on a whetstone.
